Bird-Watching Walk

DATE AND TIME

09/28 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Cost: $Free

As summer gives way to fall, many birds begin to move from their spring and summer breeding grounds to their winter homes. This is a good time to watch birds make the seasonal transition.
The walk will stay on the paved trails but may cover up to two miles. Nature educator Gale Rublee suggests downloading the Merlin app prior to the event to track birds by sound.
Programs are free and open to the public but participation is limited.

Scavenger Hunts

The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!

Here are the scavenger hunts available so far (check back for future additions).
