Frosty Forts Family Nature Program

Can your family build an impromptu shelter in 30 minutes or less using only your hands and what’s on the ground around you? We’ll rate the best forts based on temperature inside, sturdiness, use of found materials and if we think it could weather a brief winter storm. Dress for being outside for an hour or more. Meet at the shelter by the playground.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
