Lighting the Way with Solstice Luminaries

Come celebrate the Winter Solstice by making a tin can luminary that will cast a pretty pattern of light into this longest night. Bring a hammer if you have one. Nails, patterns, and frozen tin cans will be provided along with instructions. (You’re welcome to fill your own tin can with water, freeze it, and bring it along.) Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reserve space to make sure we have enough resources.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
