Mara Robb, a first-year lifeguard at the Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center, has earned the Summer Spotlight Employee of the Week Award.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation is paying tribute to employees at the Aquatic Center this summer with a special award each week.
Robb attends Bowling Green High School and after she graduates she plans to attend college and eventually become an obstetrician/gynecologist.
She enjoys cheer, reading and tanning in her time off. She likes working at the Aquatic Center because “I get to be outside and around people and I have made lots of new friends.”
She said her favorite treat at the concession stand is pretzel with cheese and her work hype song is “I Did Something Bad” by Taylor Swift.
The Summer Spotlight Employee receives prizes from Tom Boland Ford, Coffee Barn, Hula Bowls, Java Jive and Families and Communities Together.
