Natalie Nguyen, who started working at the Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center this year, has earned the Summer Spotlight Employee of the Week Award.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation is paying tribute to employees at the Aquatic Center this summer with a special award each week.
Nguyen is a junior at Hannibal High School and plans to go to college to become an epidemiologist.
She enjoys playing pickleball and tennis with her friends and traveling with her family.
She likes working at the Aquatic Center as a front desk/concessions/slide attendant because “I like to be around my friends and I like the outdoors and summer weather. I also like to see kids enjoy their summer at the pool.”
Nguyen’s favorite treat at the concession stand is Airhead Extremes and her work hype song is “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield.
The Summer Spotlight Employee receives prizes from Tom Boland Ford, Coffee Barn, Hula Bowls, Java Jive and Families and Communities Together.
